RS7 to M5
M5 ordered, currently drive an RS7 which I absolutely love, stunning look in my humble opinion. The newer version won't be out by the time I need the car so I went M5 to try something new. Suspect there will be a hybrid version of the new RS7 and I'll inevitably buy another but will very likely keep the M5. Wife went from a Q7 to an X3 M40 a few months back, wanted something smaller and loves it.
5 years ago, BMW was at the bottom of my list and now I just dropped 117k on one, how our tastes evolve over time....zero regrets here. |

Love the RS7 too and can be insanely fast but very polarizing rear and also same shape since 2014 except lights and grill, really? It's been 6 years besides honestly the M5 is faster stock and the tech is light years ahead!! M5 will make you forget RS7 Here's mine today

It showing its age now! Ok I like to hear a fair concise comparison between RS7 and M5 from you, why M5 F90 will not make you get over your RS7? When it's better overall car and you know it

Love the debate, I think the older RS has a timeless look but as far as tech, way behind the new M5. My RS7 is a performance model and I changed software and got it up to about 700hp. An M5 with a simple race chip is faster, I've personally witnessed this. I don't like the look of the new version more than the older but that's just taste. That said, I have driven the new A7 and the tech is very nice. The way I see it, if you're sporting an M5 or RS7, you should be grateful to be able to own such cars.

My 2011 F-150 eco-boost with 170k km was just retired form DD duty; seems like forever... I had a E39 M5 from 2000-2005 which I loved and still miss; so naturally when I found out the M5 now has M X-drive it was like the universe had conspired to mate my two favourite DDs together into the automotive equivalent of a psychotic bastard child with manners. This is good.
2019 M5 Donington with full black merino and dark carbon trim Full PPF - Xpel Ultimate Plus Ceramic treatment including wheels off and interior Ceramic window tint (80% windshield - 35% sides - 20% rear) Acexxon rear gloss black honeycomb reflector delete IND donington front reflector set 20” 706 bicolour wheels M-seat belts Executive Pkg B & W sound Sly-Bracket (BozzMount) front plate mount - Sly-Bracket is a great solution if you have to have a front plate and don’t have the driver’s assist sensor array. The bracket gives a clean industrial look and is fully adjustable; I have it sitting around 4 mm off the front bumper crease and up high enough so it looks good without significantly impeding airflow. No holes drilled in bumper either - looks wayyyy better than the chunky OEM holder in my opinion. |

I went from two down to one.
Had a 2010 Bentley Supersports with exhaust and a lowering module which was super awesome. But a 10 year old Bentley is not something I wanted to mess with if (when*) things start to act up. My other was a 2013 GTR which was FBO + E85 which has been my favorite car to date. Got it new back in 2012 and daily drove it for the first 3 years. Been making 650whp and 600tq for the past 60k miles and never had a single problem. (will be missed dearly) But it was time to get out of both and into one car. Really needed something more practical. GTR has a full cage in it and the Supersports really could not fit 4 adults very comfortably. So my three requirements were it had to fit 4 adults comfortably, be as quick as the GTR, and be able to cruise around without attracting too much attention. After driving the Pan Turbo S, E63s, and M5 the decision was pretty easy. The M5 really was the best of both my current cars. Looking forward to putting some miles on it and learning the BMW platform |

Traded in my 2002 Acura RSX-S and my 2015 nismo 370z. Needed something quick and awd for our canadian winters and just started new job that requires lots of driving rain or shine or snow haha

Drivers license AND diploma? Nice jump! I used to have a Civic HX, less common model, and consistently got 50mpg. And that was years ago. Still regret not keeping it after moving abroad for a time.
