Hi All,

More photos and thoughts to come later, but excited to share the delivery of my build from October, finally delivered today! Goes in on Monday for ceramic coat and window tint.

All options except CCB brakes.

Black painted regular calipers.

M Performance CF mirror caps, side skirts, pro spoiler and rear diffuser.

I'm coming from an X5M that I loved, but didn't make me grin like this M5 has in short order. I do wish I maybe went for the M performance exhaust, given I dont feel it's loud enough, but even with the lease residual factored in, I couldn't justify the cost. I'd have to hear the MPE tho to truly know and regardless, I'm super happy. The wife already commented on the 'engine noise' (I was in sport plus) so maybe from the family perspective I'm better off.

What kind of deal/lease numbers did you see in Illinois for the M5 if you don't mind me asking? In the market for an M8/M5 and just started working the dealers in Illinois especially for the M5.

I dont mind sharing the basic details. I got 8.5% off, plus $750 manufacturer incentive available at the time, and base money factor of .00082 at signing. The discount was applied to the M performance parts also, that were port installed and included in the lease residual. I would say it was a very good deal, but not the best I've heard of. I think 9 or 10% might be doable depending on your effort and circumstances. This dealer has been good to me for a decade now so I try not to squeeze every penny.
