My car was just towed my my neighborhood for parking on the street. I heard the tires going down the street, ran outside, it was gone. Caught the tow truck driver a mile up the road, he was towing it like it was a RWD car. He said it was totally fine to tow cars like that for a short distance and was putting a dolly under the front wheels.

Everything I've read online says they should be put on a flatbed with a lift if you can't get them in neutral. What are the odds it was damaged, besides the tires?

Two of my neighbors also saw it going down the road with the tires squealing, so at least I have some witnesses.

Funny this would be the second lawsuit with this car and I haven't even driven it. I had been suing the dealership I bought it from for the last 9 months and just got them to agree to take the car back, minus all of the payments I made and the attorney fees, this week. Now this happened. fml.

The towing company will ONLY release the car if I have the title, or registration. I can't register the car because it would need a passing smog check and it's in impound. Also it wont pass smog check because it was sold to me without catalytic converters. I called the financing company, and the dealership still hasn't released the title to them and says they can't do that until the car is registered. The dealership hates me and refuses to give me any copy of the title. Even if they did, they haven't put it in my name yet because I haven't registered the car. Just at a total deadlock and racking up 100 a day in parking fines...

No catalytic converter means your car is loud annoying the hell out of your neighbors. So they called and complained to have it towed. Why does the dealership hate you?

Wow...what a nightmare. I would be contacting a lawyer ASAP to get your car out of the impound. As for damage to your car from being towed on two wheels, you will most likely not have any issues. When you go pick it up, you will have several drivetrain alerts, just drive it for several miles and it will clear up. Best of luck with your situation.

My neighbors think it's whisper quiet compared to my GT3 with no cats and no mufflers. That car is around 100 db on a cold start.

I think this all may be a good thing. The financing company said they don't have the title because the dealership won't release it until I register the car. Basically, I don't own the car, neither does the financing company. If I can get them to just pull funding for the car, the dealership will have to pick it up from the impound before they auction it off. Not my problem.
