Heh puts in clips of the titanium m performance exhaust from SEMA, those carbon tips alone will be more money than the factory sports exhaust.

Isn't that color Donnington Grey? There is no Silverstone Silver offered currently. Only Rhodonite Silver.

Does anyone know why the E39, E60 and F10 all had silver or silverstone and why this M5 you have to order an individual silver?

I believe is just a matter of name.
because if you look to this "Donington Grey" is very close to "silverstone silver"! at least in photos it's looks very similar!

The problem with greys, silvers, etc. is that under natural light in the real world they all look the same: BORING.

White, gray, silver and black seem to be the only colors people buy anymore.

Which is why you and I have difficulty finding more unique colors in inventory. To add to that, black interiors are a plague on dealer lots.

I actually like black interior mostly because it's easy to keep clean and looks sporty. I wanted oyster leather but I don't want to worry about keeping it clean.

Silverstone and donington are very different. You should compare the two.

LOVE Donington I think it looks great with a light colored interior like Sakhir or Cohiba.

But there is no confusing Silverstone with Donington. Silverstone has this Blue tint to it where as Donington is more in the Grey family

Absolutely untrue.
Silverstone has some blue hue in it, Donington is just gray grey.

Garage List
Still don't get why they don't have shades of green? A British Racing Green or Oxford Green would look AMAZING with a light colored interior on this vehicle (or for any M for that matter).

I mean just look at this color on a roadster from yesteryear. Good ol days.

Without a bright color the new M5 looks boring.
