Looks good man! Do you guys not get the option for the multispoke 19" wheels in the USA?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, we do not. We get to choose from a couple of five-spoke options.

Would love to have the multispoke wheels. They are very classy looking on the C63 sedan.

Looks great! Can't wait to see what you do with this one.

Definitely jealous and almost makes me want to trade mine for a white C63 w/manual like my local dealer has in stock right now. I'm holding back for F80 though.

Thanks man!

This week I'll be adding an ECU Tune (OE Tuning). Crank horsepower will go from 451 to 538 and torque (in lb-ft) will go from 443 to 500.

Speed limiter (set at 155 from the factory) is removed so the car can reach its natural top speed of 200 miles per hour (track only ).

It was between OE Tuning and Eurocharged. Both are outstanding but the OE Tuning tune seems to be a bit stronger.

After the tune I'm going to add this carbon fiber diffuser (from Vorsteiner):

I think I'm going to try to stop by this place sometime this week.

Looks like a very nice facility.

Yeah this thing really pulls relentlessly. The top end is impressive now; after the tune it should be scary fast.

I really am considering doing both pre-tune and post-tune dyno runs now that I've found a respectable facility here locally.

I would love to do a friendly run against an M5! Unfortunately I'm stuck here in central Indiana for a while. I have yet to see an F10 M5 on the road here since it's release.

OE Tunning C63

Do you think it will effect your Warrenty? I have read a few people that said they got no guff from Mercedes.

The C63 is a more exciting DD than any BMW I've driven. Enjoy!

I think I should be fine.

My friend is the Sales Manager at my local MB dealer and he is the one that recommended I tune it as soon as the break-in period was over.

Haha!

The handheld tuner arrives tomorrow. I'll have four maps to choose from (stock, tune on 93 octane pump gas, tune on race gas, valet).

Prior to tuning, I'd like to get a baseline dyno. However, I still have a little bit of work to do on the break-in.

My plan at the moment is as follows: Baseline dyno; install tune; post-tune dyno; painted reflectors; Vorsteiner carbon fiber diffuser; acquire OEM C63 AMG Black Series coupe multi-spoke wheels (black) and some Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires for my summer setup; sell Continental tires but keep OEM 5-spoke wheels and use them for my winter setup.

Already have my Passport 9500ix installed. I might spring for the AMG Performance steering wheel with alcantara (it is otherwise identical to the lovely wheel I have already but the alcantara-equipped one will better match my interior).

Down the road I might go for some long tube headers (http://www.mbhmotorsports.com/C63-Lo...e-Headers.html) and an Akrapovic exhaust. Hard to convince myself to get rid of the OEM exhaust though because it sounds so damn brilliant already.

I want to make this a seriously fast car.

So basically this is what I am going for (Vorsteiner rear diffuser; Akrapovic exhaust; long tube headers):

I have seen 10 second ones. I would like to see one with a E85 map instead of race gas.

Wow that's incredible. I have seen quite a few C63s running the OE Tune only that are in the mid-11s (@ 122+ mph).

With the headers, Akrapovic exhaust, and running the street/pump gas tune, I know of at least one C63 that is running 11.15 @ 125 mph.
