Looks like the accessories, like Apple Car Play, aren't showing. Also, it cannot calculate lease prices at this time. Hopefully that is because they are going to fix the huge mistake they made by lowering the residual 10 points.

Apple Car Play is standard on the 2019 M5.

I think that is the subscription plan with MY2019 BMWs. Free for the first year, $80/year from the 2nd year on.

I noticed the same and came to the same conclusion.

Hopefully BMW fixes the absolutely stupid changes they made to MF and residuals. They will lose business, lots of it - in blocks of $100,000+ at a time.

Seems ridiculous that the "M drivers pkg" isn't part of the CP.

+1

For those of you that bought/leased a new M5 prior to the F10 generation you'll recall a trip to the Performance Center for what was essentially the One Day M School (Re-branded the "M5 Driving Experience") was included in the base price of the car. It got eliminated on the F10 M5 to help keep the price down.

that won't happen until next year. I distinctly remember the F10 M5 leases being out of whack when the CP came out for it and a year later there were great deals to be had

Only difference this time is that the Comp is technically a separate model than the regular M5. Only the residuals on the Comp were dropped.

My guess is that they did it so that people with orders for '18 M5s didn't back out and just order the '19 Comp.

Driving me Crazy

I know this was coming but still can't stop regretting.

I ordered regular M5 last month and it is arriving at Baltimore port today and expected to get the delivery earliest next week?
I added black gloss grill and carbon spoiler to it.

But then I saw this Competition build on the website.
with $7300 more it includes
- All the black parts that I wanted
- M seat belt
- M sport Exhaust (this alone seems worth it)
- Slightly more power
- 2019 vs 2018 (resell value)
- Apple car play included
- 20-inch wheels included

So list above is way more than $7300.

Down side is
- Slightly rougher ride? (This will be my only family car with little ones)
- Longer wait (Don't know how long. Any ideas?)
- No discount and higher APR? (I got pretty good offer with 2018)

I know my dealer's gonna hate me and won't want to talk to me again ever but is it possible to cancel my order now?
Should I even do so?

Sorry for complaining over my own dumb decision.
