I specifically told Jon to make sure dealer does not drill holes on the car when it arrives. |

My film installer said if the sensors acted up he would cut out the holes for the sensors to be uncovered, but I never needed to. |

I always give my dealers a letter from me explaining that when the car arrives it should not to be touched by anyone for any reason other than to park it. No washing. No waxing. No towels. Don't even unwrap the plastic from the paint. |

I did too, but the detailer made his own decision without getting it approved by Jon. Water under the bridge. They are taking care of me.

It could be referring to film for wraps and not clear bras. When I picked up my f10 m5 in Munich I was talking to one of the engineers about it and he said clear bras are fine over the sensors. I've never had an issue with them.

5 BMW's factory ordered over the years. Always instruct the dealer, no plates on the front. So far so good. On one of them there was still a note taped to the steering wheel when I took delivery, probably from the sales guy to the service guys. It just said, "NO FRONT PLATE!" I also instruct them, no test drives. I don't even want it on the showroom floor where people can sit in it.
As far as the question on PPF, mine had holes cut for parking sensors. Don't really know if installer did it after it was put on or if the computer pattern that cuts it did it.

The "correct" way to do this is to cut out the ppf where the sensors are. My installer did it this way, and I've had zero issues with peeling, and since I never wax (it has ceramic coating) the holes aren't a problem for trapping wax.
