Where do u get the light? Was it diy simple swap of more to it. Thanks

Bought the lights from a main dealer, will also need the 4 cover trims as they are a different shape. Fitting is straight forward on the outers, the inners will need to be repined on the plug and some additional wires from the BDC. All will need the coding

so what did you find was best dealer at giving you good price on the lci lights?

i got my lights ordered and should be fitted end of month i hope. ill post pics when done, dark details should work well with the grey paint on mine.

so lights been fitted today look awesome on the dark car, works well, the 3D look so much more modern, a great upgrade to do.

My dealer wouldn't fit this for me. I am London based and am trying to find someone who can do this work for me. Supply and install

Try calling Cooper BMW Chelmsford and ask for Finley Baker in parts. I was there on Thursday but they forgot to order the new trays so making another appointment next week to go back to get these installed. There is a retro fitting service. That or try Simon from Bavarian coding as mentioned in another thread.

Any idea on pricing from BMW Chelmsford? Anyone done the fronts as well or not worth the cost?

Rears are £1100 - £1200 ish fitted. Fonts is a whole lot of work as unless I am mistaken you need a front bumper and grill too as a minimum. Not heard of anyone looking at this so cant comment on costs.

Front cost I have heard is around 4000 euros as lights bumper and grill needs to be swapped with wiring and coding. Don't think worth it at all.

Hmm. 4K is not bad if you think you will have an up to date designed front end for a further 2 years at least and therefore saving changing the car if your that way inclined.

i paid about 1300 fully fitted and coded? 4k sounds a lot. I dont know part number as bavarian coding supplied and fitted

Just posted this in the main forum but will add this here too:

So had this done on Friday and I have to admit they look so, so much better than the early models (I have a 2018 & had it for 2 years now so I needed something as was getting bored of the look). Just makes the car look so fresh and I cant believe how such a relatively small thing can make such a dramatic difference. Anyway, that was the good news. The bad news is that there is an intermittent fault message of Brake light left and some times right failure. Funny thing is the break lights are actually working so im hoping its something to do with the coding. The BMW dealership installed these so I will be back in contact with them tomorrow. The strange thing is it does not happen all the time and maybe once in every 10 starts and from what I can gather its first thing in the morning after the car has sat for a while. Once the message comes on, if I switch the car off and then back on it normally resets and all is fine. Any ideas before I go back to the dealership would be appreciated so I can maybe point them in the right direction. I know they will have no idea why its doing this as its their first. I should have let Simon from Bavarian coding complete the retrofit for me! Oh well...….

dont bother with bmw, they are putting hold on kits as mentioned above. Contact Simon at Bavarian coding he has it sorted. Did mine and Mindas lights, mention our cars. He comes to you from Portsmouth
