I think I’m giving up for now. That car isn’t the right color and it’s a hassle to ship and sell my current car.
Seems very few M5 in the south and a ton are in the north east. I only have 7 within 500 miles of me at a BMW dealership. |

Gentlemen,
What am I missing here? 2020 M5 completion with 800 miles for $92,999? https://www.carmax.com/car/18974187 Isn’t the sticker on even a base M5 competition $112,000 or so? This is a new car. My concern is it’s at Carmax. Why isn’t it at a BMW dealership? The person bought it, drove it <1,000 miles and took like $25,000 bath on it? Makes no sense. It was a “personal” use vehicle...not a lease or demo, I don’t think. With 800 miles, seems almost no risk. Car max also has several guarantees. |

A good deal is you get a car you love, while paying the amount you consider a bargain, everyone is different, but this is really a simple question most people make it way too complicated. for example, if you make $1000/hour, any hour you dig into car search is -$1000, so you might just find whatever car you want and buy it right there vs. if you're making $50/hour, then it might make sense for you to spend hours digging if that makes sense. But at the end of the day, whatever makes you happy and comfortable paying, is considered a good deal IMO. |
