Considering the market, even with zero drive off. No

Your only getting about 7.7% off. I would recommend waiting if you can until the MY21 drops or getting MY19 if you can find one and don't mind the tech differences. I would also consider if you're going to actually do 45,000 miles in 36months and if the residual hit vs. buying miles is worth it if you go over.

Year-end tends to have better deals.

Thank you for your advice. I was planning on changing my car next October but unfortunately my car got caught in a hailstorm and was totaled. I could wait a month but would be driving my wife’s or kids’ car and would be a pain for all involved.

I drive about 18k miles a year so would be buying miles even on this deal. Have not thought about 12k with additional miles, will do the calculation

That is an amazing deal, double my discount!!

Thanks again!

It is a M5 non comp with full Aragon brown Merino, Executive package, carbon fiber front grill and 20 inch wheels. They had useless stuff on it like wheel locks and trunk sill protection.

As I said in the above post, I am unfortunately under a time constraint.

I am also in Texas where I have to pay taxes on the full sale price, so that adds to the monthly payment.

I would look at other dealerships within a 1.5hr or so flight(500 miles) from where you're at in Texas- or more since Texas is a big state. Email/call internet sales and be like I'm already approved with BMW FS and ask for 36/15, No MF markup, 13% off, and zero drive off, you can pick it up within a few days, and see what you get on a 20, then if they have a 19 ask for 15%. If its new you don't need to see or drive the car. You may ask for 15 and only get 12 or 13 and only get 10. But that's 1,000s of dollars you save and can put towards excess mileage.

You will do way better than 7.7%, ask 10 dealerships and someone will bite. What's an hr flight and a bonding road trip home with a new M5?

I have a 2019 Comp M5 36/12 zero drive off, plus maintenance and with taxes for 1216 w/ 6% sales tax.

Any dealership can do an out of state lease, I've never brought my car in the state it's registered in.

It sucks about taxes in Texas but if you can save more on the cost of the car do it.

Then if you can do the BMW CCA rebate that's a grand back in your pocket minus the dues.

I would go back to your current dealership and be like... Thanks for the offer but you're looking for a discount in the 12% range, knowing that the LCI M5 production starts within the next few months. An that you're in discussion with XX, XX, XX dealerships, and few out of state. You'll circle back later in the week, wait for there counter.

Thank you very much for your advice. I did look at Autotrader for availability and could not find any else in Texas- Donington Gray with Aragon Brown interior.

I will email the dealership and ask them for a better discount, using your advice- great idea!

Thanks again.

Update, I was assuming the dealer I was negotiating with was going to give me the base rate but wanted .00250 which is apr of 6%. This is for a car with has been in the dealership for 9 months. I was willing to take 8% off with base MF but obviously it did not work out.
I am tired of the back and forth and wanted a quick, reasonable deal- my local dealer was able to get a vehicle from out of state for 8% off and base MF .
Donington gray M5 non comp, Aragon brown with Executive, drivers assistance, 20 inch black, moon roof and B&W- some add ons like black front grill, all weather floor mats and phone charging cable for MSRP of $115770.
Car will be here next week and will post pictures- appreciate all you folks!

Agree!

Car should be here next week and per leasehackr, $1662 per month with zero drive off. Cannot really complain about 8% off on a car which ticks all the boxes for me.

Will post final numbers and photos.

Thank you all for your valuable input.

Congrats, can't really put a price on what you want. Happy Fathers Days to a new M5... is it a boy or a girl and did you name it.

Thank you! Happy Father’s Day to you too! Have not thought about that, been trying to learn about the car and idrive 7 in particular.

Planning on PPF to the hood, front fenders, front bumper and rear view mirrors as well as tinting the windows.

My thoughts exactly. Would expect something closer to $1200-1300 from what I've seen.

Appreciate your opinion and advice. I ran the numbers on leasehackr and to get a monthly payment of $1405 in Texas for my car, I have to buy it at 15% off which is just not possible here on a 2020. This is with base MF and sales tax of 6.25% on the selling price.

I am also constrained by time and also picky on the color combo, which does not help.

Factoring in the value of my time at this point, this deal works for me.

I am learning and hopefully can plan well in advance for my next car and get a better lease.

Forgot to add, car will be ready on Tuesday but dealer was fine with waiting till July to see if lease rates are better, will the July numbers be out on the first?

It's depressing to be honest as I'm in the process of finding a lease and need to stay below $1500.

I understand, like me in Texas you are also in a state that charges sales tax on the selling price which adds at least $100 to the lease per month.

I could not find the car I wanted anywhere close and decided to bite the bullet and go with my local dealer- TBH, my SA was upfront with what he could do price wise, gave me base MF and none of the shitty add ons. He traded his X5M allocation with a dealer up in Ohio to get the car I wanted.

Overall, I am very pleased with the process and not concerned about the monthly payment- peace of mind and saving time is worth a lot.

Good luck to you!
