I never get to enjoy the back seat and would be mad when friends and family got to enjoy the ride from the back. Next car is all about me.
My wife and son argue over who “has” to sit in the front and who “gets” to sit in the back. Both front and back have massaging/vented seats, but the back is just amazing. I won’t ever get to experience it because nobody else is allowed to drive the B7 but me. Haha.

When the kid is gone, I might slide back to an M5.

Just drove a competition at my dealer when placing my order.

If ride comfort is important, I would not get the competition. In the softest setting you can feel the thin rubber.

While it's pretty awesome for a car that it always "on." I'll be gettin the non comp version because I want the option for a smoother ride.

I drove a M5C a few weeks ago and thought it was pretty smooth and not jarring or stiff at all. The car had the standard Y wheels with Michelin tires. Comfort is definitely subjective. Must test drive to judge for yourself.

I had a non-LCI regular and testdrove the LCI comp. The comp was stiffer and bouncier.

Love my 21 M5C as a daily driver. I drive in comfort most of the time as we are coming out of winter and the local roads need some pothole repairs desperately. it is not jarring at all. I find it quite tight yet very comfortable. In sport and sport+, I find the ride exciting and responsive. Great all around in any setting!!

Completely different ride.
I have only driven a comp and mine is on pirellis, even in comfort its a bit of a harsh ride. No not terrible but if you are used to luxury rides comfort wise this will be a noticeable change.

Full agreement here, I drive 50/50 - comfort and sport+.

The only thing I'll add is the roads get MUCH better as you get to South Jersey.

Hey Crumbs Make sure to check your PSI on your tires. Some are coming from factory or dealer with higher PSI than should be. Will certainly have an impact of ride quality.

I have a LCI M5 and have driven a pre LCI for a few hours. Initially I noticed a mild improvement in comfort mode but as I have put some miles on her now the LCI M5 has improved greatly in comfort ride. I also didn't initially realize that after my 1200 mile service, BMW dealership pumped my tire pressures to 40 psi all around. When I placed them back to the recommended psi, the ride has remained sporty but not stiff or bouncy in comfort.
