How to service F90

Hello guys, I have an M5 F90(US SPEC) 10/2020 and I am looking forward to servicing it myself.

Why would somebody do that you might ask? Well the car is US spec and I live in Europe, The dealer estimated JUST the parts for 2k EUR which is way too much. For this price, I can get the parts myself + get an oil drain + ramp
(also the oil change interval of 2year/10k km is a joke for 630hp car)

To give you perspective, I also own S 560(also V8), and biggest service was 700€

The question I am having is how to find exactly what the car needs.
How to read what it needs from either idrive or from OBD.

I am not sure about iDrive 6 cars, but on the 2021+ iDrive only shows oil change and vehicle check.

Most of the stuff is tied to oil changes. See attached.

I have iDrive 7 and the car keeps track of what was changed last time and what it will need. Well, at least generally, it says Engine Oil, Brake Fluid, and Microfilter.

And thanks! What you sent makes sense and my service history follows that pattern.

However I still need to find exactly what parts it needs, is this possible to find that on bmwtechinfo?
Or do I need to get AOS access to easily find what part numbers it needs?

FCP Euro, tisher bmw and ecs tuning are US websites that list parts. AOS will give you the info too but is probably overkill for normal stuff. In the US we can get ISTA/AOS for $32 for 24 hours. Europe gets a different website and price.

I think you have to reset that on its own. At least that's what I did with my wife's E90 back in the day. I might have done that on her X5 too. Either way I do a "vehicle check" every time I work on it, so I mostly ignore that service item since it really is "bring the car in to the dealer so we can make some money".

Every time I have my car lifted up on the QuickJack I check everything out (suspension, look for leaks, wheel bearing play, rotor thickness, pad life, etc).
