Spark Plugs - Did you go aftermarket or OEM?
I am coming up on 30K miles and I am due for spark plugs. Anyone have experience with NGK or any other brands? Or should I stick with BMW Genuine?
Thanks! |

Why would you drain the radiator tank?

Just had mine done at dealer at 19k miles.
Kept the originals too as such low miles. Tbh, they look high quality parts and no reason to change unless there's an ignition related issue or tuned. The plugs that came out of my UK 2019 Comp are Bosch ZR5TPP3320 Last edited by Maxlude; 04-11-2023 at 10:07 AM.. |

19k might be a little premature, but maybe you were at the 3rd oil change because you don’t drive much. The gaps on my plugs and opened 1-2000ths based on my measurements at 26k.

It's only at 19k miles I don't drive it much since covid. When I bought it in 2019, I was doing a 175mile trip to site on a Monday and same back on a Thursday. It was a fantastic car for that. An awesome blend of comfort, luxury, safety, practicality with a sporty flavour We have an electric car for local journeys. |

What is the stock gap? I bought some off ebay using correct bmw part #, just want to make sure that they are gapped properly before I tear everything out.

If you are stock i would stay with the stock plugs, no reason to change, car might even run alittle rougher if u switch being stock
