I recommend selling on autoloader or something like that. On this forum or any other car forums, you are just going to get keyboard warriors or tire kickers. No one with actual money to buy this car. Those guys don't browse internet forums on the regular.

The car at 176 is fair, it will sell. Don't go over 2500 miles. That is the threshold for Considering it newish or it becomes used in people's eyes.

FWIW, I have the same car.

I wonder how low it will have to go to sell? It’s nice to see prices starting to come down to Earth.

Thanks for free bumps to the other members. Price reduced to $165k stock. I am not making anything on this, given taxes and $8k spent on full PPF and ceramic.

Good Luck. I'm interested, but with logistics I'm close but not quite at your point. What are you trading for?

I have a 992 GTS on order that ended up coming sooner than I had anticipated. It is on the ship now from Germany. I will be trading the car in this coming week. A lot of window shoppers it seems on the CS, have had about 15-20 people contact me between here and Autotrader, no one has come through to actually buy it.

I think people are waiting for prices to get closer to MSRP but I'm not sure if that's going to happen. Put it up for rent $1,000 a day with limited mileage.

Agreed. Except the rent part. I could never rent out a car I loved. Haha.

For me I've got no problem for MSRP, plus dealer doc fee of say $1k max. I wouldn't have done a full wrap myself but I appreciate that it's been done so I'd tack on another $5k. Ceramic coatings I do my fair share of them. If its a true ceramic coating and I can appreciate the work that it takes to apply one. I'll go $750 for that. Round up for fun and it's at $155k. I know the OP would love to get taxes back but I've been in this game a lot and you can never assume that, you also can't assume taxes were paid for a lot of buyers (Montana LLC, Dealer, etc). I'd throw it up to $157k. I had my buddy run MMR, but there aren't enough sales to get a real number, and according to him high end buyers are slowly backing out of orders fearing the market a bit.

I was looking at 911's but thought I'd look at these because it has 4 seats and I have a kid. Hesitant about the carbon buckets for comfort.

I have two kids lol. A 10 year old and a 5 year old, they fit at this age in the back of the 911 no problem, in a few more years the 10 year old will not fit back there. I can't do $157k for it, as I am getting more on trade in. Best of luck finding one that works for you.

This Tuesday, Sept 27. Not going to lose my trade in value waiting around, as my experience with people not coming through gives me no desire to wait around any longer. Do not want to risk getting a lower trade value by waiting longer for a potential buyer that is a big IF.

Lol. Yeah I am quite surprised it hasn't sold. $149k msrp, $8k in full PPF and ceramic, $1k for ceramic tint, IND front body colored reflectors, and rear reflector delete. Radar is hardwired to fuse box which I did on my own but I'm sure a shop would charge hundreds. I am asking low 160's which imho is priced to sell. If my 992 wasn't already on the way I would have kept it longer, just don't have the room. It will be traded in Tuesday, doubt anyone will buy between now and then, as has been on sale since July. I am sure the dealer will list for probably $170-175k the next day, or I bet they probably already have a buyer lined up for it for around that price.

This is not an MMR type of car. Can't really compare the selling price to auction prices because of its rarity. 165 is more than fair. Once the hybrid one comes out, people will realize how much heavier these cars will become and M5CS will drastically go up in value.

I was fighting to do the last European delivery for my M5 competition in 2020 and unfortunately I failed because of travel restrictions and then when the CS came out I was pretty upset because it wasn't available at the time of my order.
I jokingly told my wife I was thinking of getting your car and her response was do what makes you happy.. With that thought I posted my M5 comp for sale and we'll see what happens, but yes someone please buy this car so I can stop losing sleep.
