Cracked SSR Downpipes - Flex Area

I purchased a full set of SSR Downpipes at June 5 2020. Its been 16 months and today I heard a weird grinding noise so I went to my mechanic to check. He showed me that the flex area of the right secondary downpipe has cracked. How is this possible?

I contacted SSR waiting for a reply. Check picture for detail

That’s what happens when manufacturers get lazy and don’t utilize factory mounting points. Even my PLM eBay downpipes bolt up to the factory mounting locations

The new ones they sent had that mesh wire. They replaced and sent a whole new set on warranty for free. Running them right now no issues so far 1 month installed.
