Finally a nice dip into negative DA. Car is asking for a lot of fuel because of the air, trims are tabletopped. I'm at E37 on this run and need to back down in E content and or add meth. I'll be adding meth later this month.

Shit man that is good! Proof to my argument with these cars right there… timing is everything! Your hitting great timing through most of the pull and 22 at the top of 5th, with moderate boost. She is definitely moving air with your fuel trims that high. I usually see around 35 maybe 40.

Do you find your timing increases as the da lowers? I’m starting to see that with mine, but I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or not..

Great runs for no dps and JB4…

What meth system are you buying? I’m ordering one too.. snow performance 2.5 I was looking at?

Yes def bump in timing at Da drops. Thx man I'm really happy with my numbers for such little mods.
Going to use the JB4 meth system for its failsafes.

Hahahah da hunter, love it. Do you notice your timing doesn’t go as high in worse da or is it always consistent?

https://datazap.me/u/wadefinehomes/l...=1-4-5-6-11-36

This a log of a run in DA1800ft, looks as if peak timing was about 15deg.

I ran a 7.12 60-130 here.

That is exactly what I am running now low 7s in the teen range like that with 15degree of timing in 5th, a bit higher timing sometimes in 4th.

Maybe it is the DA controlling the timing.. You'd think it would be intake temps, but denser air would cause more combustion pressure, if the octane can handle it. Cooler air is denser... hmmm.. Thanks for sharing, that site is mint!

Watching the weather here in the UK, waiting for it to drop below 50f / 10c and stay dry for the best runs...

You will se a nice bump in power once the temps drop and the air dries out.

It's all "connected" IAT's will drop when overall temp drops, drop in temp will drop DA (along with humidity) As you stated cooler is denser, more oxygen rich, so ECU will advance timing.
Your 60-130 and traps seem to be inline for your mods relative to your DA. A few tweaks and some better air...

Thx my man. I'm going to add secondary downpipes and will keep the primary stock followed by "lightweight" wheels. I'm full carbon fiber roof with carbon ceramic brakes, but I have the heavy cast wheels. I'd like to get my 60-130 in 6.4X range with those mods. We will see.

2020 Base model w/exec, no sunroof, steel brakes
Dinan inlets
BMC Filters
JB4 Map 1 on 93 oct
Remus exhaust
789m wheels with 285/295 PS4s

Launch control, MDM 4wd, normal tire pressure

Was uphill at the end pretty significantly but this is my best time so far. First draggy since the inlets but also coolest temps I've run in. Temps in the 50's.
Car def loves the cool air.

I thought for lauch control to engage correctly DSC has to be off. Does it also work with MDM?

Wow that's quick!! The newer models 60ft much better. I can't get off the line that quickly. Our MD air is perfect right about now. 👌.
What was your 60-130 on that run?

What was your 60-130 on that run?
60-130 was 8.02. The end is where I started hitting an uphill so may have impacted the time some. For me I've never had great 60-130 times on 1/4 mile runs.
I'll have to try some dedicated 60-130 and see if it can do better.

Was that a question or an answer? Because that's what I asked above and didn't get an answer. According to all "directions", DSC has to be totally off and transmission set to fastest manual setting (but shifts automatically.)
