It is in German, but the numbers and video don't lie. Nice to see the M5 kick some butt, particularly the drag race where it is just auf Wiedersehen.

Never seen this one but I’ve watched numerous ones from Carwow, when the M5 hooks up it’s unbeatable but too often it’s launch control system throws a hissy fit and leaves it trailing the rest by quite a bit.

OK it’s different days but the M8 which uses the same engine, gearbox, AWD system and I’m guessing launch control didn’t have any issues.

I don’t understand why an AWD car would have any issue launching, BMW are very good at many things but launching isn’t always one of them. In any case it’s only something used by motoring journalists and wallies who street race so not something that I’ll ever be using.
