Spark Plug Change DIY
Please if someone can guide on spark plug change diy. I want to see if it is possible so I can do it every 5k miles and 2 steps colder versus dealer every 3 oil changes

I did my spark plugs they weren't as bad as I thought they'd be you definitely need a 10-12 inch extension. All you have to do it remove couple screws holding ecus in place on both sides. I'd say definitely try it let me know if you have any questions.

So what is the benefit of 2 steps colder and what plugs to use? How would I know if the mechanic did correct gapping?

That's a great deal! Yeah, I guess it depends on the tuner. I think I heard Mo from DME say to go a step colder. Both seem to work fine.
Oh I think I know who you are. Are you the admin on the FB F90 Enthusiast forum? Nice care btw. I'm trying to dial my car in too for spring/summer. I'm currently running Bootmod3 OTS but want a little more power. I was going to try DME but I like how HCP will revise the map after a couple of datalogs. I heard DME doesn't offer this. |
