Probably good for a race track but maybe not so good for daily driving or long road trips.

Yes. Very similar design and colour option on the shoulder, whilst a different colour, similar application. No doubt CF bucket.

Wow...those are ugly. Don't belong in an M5 in my opinion but if people want to buy them, more power to them.

So it's 70kg lighter than the M5 Competition and comes with the new iconic yellow lights. 70kg doesn't seem like a big difference IMO - the tires will probably help more with track times.

I wonder how these seats will feel with the tighter suspension than the M5 Comp?

Yes, 70 kg is about 154 lbs, not much of a diet right?

Doesn't even look like good quality. Hopefully not the final look.

Honestly I was interested and have held off placing my M5 order awaiting details on the CS. The rear seat being replaced with two buckets ended the interest.. Child seats...

IMHO, just my $0.02.

I don't see a point for the M5 CS. Maybe other then exclusivity or strictly as a weekend car. I believe the M5 Competition can already serve as the latter for many people who also want to haul the family along for the ride. I always thought the idea of the M5 was getting the performance of an M car but with the added creature comfort luxuries of a 5 series. I'm confused as to where the M5 CS fits into that category. I think the M3 or M4 CS is already a nice alternative for enthusiasts that wants more.

I test drove the M5 Competition and I think that was more than enough for its ultra performance handling so much I opted on ordering a regular M5 as my daily driver with 2 kids that will be sitting in the backseat.

As for the CF seats, they look cool but it will be less comfortable than the current M5 multi-contour seats. These CF seats remind me of the E63 AMG Performance seats which many say are nowhere near the comfort of the current M5 seats. Would have been cool if BMW offered the CF seats as an option for the M5 Competition for those who preferred it.

You don't daily a CS much less put car seats in it, LMAO.

Hence why an M5 CS is just dumb...just BMW taking advantage of the fan boys who have money to flaunt. Hahahahha

Leave the CS to the coupes BMW. This is just a novelty item. No one needs a 154lb lighter and 10hp more M5 for a grocery run. They should have built the Evolve 800HP version with built internals. It only cost them $30k if I recall. Now 800hp and 154lb lighter and cup2 is where you start the convo for an M5 CS...

It isn't a proper M5 without a baby seat in the back!
