Drove 2 long road trips with it and the seats are comfortable once you're in them, going in and out of them can be a bit annoying but you getting a car with bucket seats you should know what you're getting yourself into.

Exhaust is TERRIBLE from factory, don't know why they didn't make the CS a special exhaust but I changed that on my CS as well.
Do you plan on eliminating the GPFs with your new exhaust system?
I'm going to eliminate the lower catalyst converters

Which exhaust you went with?
M Performance titanium exhaust with Lower Downpipes
Was it done at a local shop or at the dealership? Just want to know if BMW has officially okayed this exhaust on the M5 CS.

Since this topic is kind of heading about mods, I have question about it. Would any mod diminish the value of M5 CS?

I think it's subjective. However, in the second hand market, I wouldn't want a M5 CS that did anything to change the stock turbos, or an aggressive tune. Exhaust, suspension, intakes to me is not a big deal but again it's all subjective.

In my opinion, if this car becomes a collectors item like the E46 M3CSL, which I doubt it will, a stock vehicle with all original parts will always be more valuable than one that's modded.

Local shop, it's same fitment as regular M5s. I don't see why BMW dealer wouldn't be able to do it either, it's there exhaust at the end of the day haha

Yeah I'm sure it fits. They just haven't officially okayed it for the M5CS as yet. Or at least it's not on the list to be optioned so dealers or at the port are not fitting it as yet.

No regrets. It's a great BMW M car. Perhaps the greatest. Being used to Porsche for the last several years, the M5 CS is also a tremendous value, relatively speaking of course. I don't know if you can find a better performance sedan at this price point. Feels better than 2021 E63 IMO.

Not like the E46 M3CSL no. I hope I'm wrong though.

Could you post some sound? I'd love to hear a cold start and some revs.

It think it will , i had a CSL was aorund 1400 cars i cant see why this wont look at the GTS M3 ok more limited what was that list they must be going at list or over, isnt there 2200 m5 CS being made with probaly more people trying to get one now with all the hype than the CSL in the day.

My m5cs got a production date yesterday!!!!!

Dealer is saying it will be delivered before year end…anyone have experience on timing from date of production? I was actually hoping for an early spring delivery…we live outside of Detroit…not exactly a good place to drive a cs in December. 😀

Last week of October is what I was told. The last time I bought a sports car in the winter was in 2014, we were living outside of Boston and I had finally found the 911 Turbo S spec'd perfectly, car was delivered a day after we got about two feet of snow…had to have the truck driver push me up the driveway. It sat in the garage until late April…had about 10 coats of wax on it by that point

More feedback on the exhaust: I'm just a bit north of the 1200 mile point (and about 100 miles post break-in service) and, while it is bassier, it still sounds weak compared to my previous F90.

Here is a quick video clip of my cs leaving a charity event last weekend:
Exhaust Note

Either way, I personally love the machine and am happy with my purchase.

Good luck with the wait!
DUUUUUDE. So excited for mine.

My build is scheduled for Week 47, dealers says expected delivery is third week of January. Does this timeline length appear consistent with others here? Went with the Frozen Brands Hatch Grey.

LOL.. I mean, I chose not to get a CS because I needed 5 seats, drive long distances and prefer the creature comforts of the M5C, but I still think the CS is better than the M5C performace wise.
