I Live in Dubai but I will move back home in Sept 2023 (CT)
I want to get downpipes but Im not sure if its legal in Ct so maybe they won't allow me to ship my car in 2023, Who knows what's legal and not legal in Ct?
And if I can ship my car if I have Illegal mods .

Downpipes take a few hours to remove, very easy on these cars… I wouldn’t worry about it. Keep your stock cats.

if i am not mistaken m5s (and for that matter audis, mercedes etc.) are more expensive in Dubai vs USA; why not sell your M5 there for some nice change, and buy a new one when you get to the states??

Wish it was that easy, M5'S are rare af in the middle east, I bought mine in Abu Dhabi was lucky to find one

Which dealership did you get yours from in Dubai?

If your car has illegal modifications, such as downpipes, it may be more difficult to ship it back to Connecticut. The company transporting car shipping Dubai your car may refuse to do so if they discover illegal modifications during their inspection. Additionally, if your car is pulled over in Connecticut and found to have illegal modifications, you may be fined and your car may be impounded.

So exactly...doesn't that mean it would be worth a lot like was said?

Sell it, make some money, buy a new one in the states.
