1200 Mile Service

I made an appointment with my SA next week for the 1200 mile break in service. I have 1180 today, but will probably go over by next week. I asked my SA and he said it's fine as long as the break in service is done within 2000 miles (within vehicle warranty specs).

Out of curiosity and trying to be safe, have any of you gone way over the 1200 mark when taking it in for the break in service? I was planning to do some extended driving this weekend but didn't want to put too many miles over the 1200.

Your thoughts?

You’re good if just a few over. One guy on here, though, went over 1,000 over, and they told him it couldn’t be CPO’d. Don’t be that guy! 😂

Does anyone know how much under you can do it? I've got a track day booked and a brand new M5C, so trying to quickly put the miles on it and get the service done. Would they do it at 1k for example?

I would say at 1000 you are probably good. Volunteer to go to the grocery store a lot between now and then! Lol

Just had mine done Monday at 1,105 miles. The dealer told me any time after "around" 1,000 miles.
