Sport Auto on M5 CP
Sorry to disappoint but it's not a super test. Short summary will follow once I throw the text into google translate.

Half of the article was talking about the old M5, on the F90 M5:
- Is CP worth the 9000 Euro? It would be presumptuous to say one can feel the extra thrust of the little additional power. Based on the test, it is not really faster, 0.2 seconds faster at 200km/h is too thin to make a conclusion. (Unfortunately SA does not test up to 300km/h like Auto Bild do) - However, the CP shines at the track. Just look at the result would be wrong, as the CP was only two tenths faster than the normal M5 at Hockenheim. CP has an even more precise steering, higher stability, and a little more mechanical grip, the corner speed of the CP are consistently higher than the normal M5. The lap time was not much faster was due to the humid temperatures of the track day. No car at this class conceal his weight so skillfully. |

Mmmmm the throwing stars on the E34 remind me of my 850CSi
The most important part for me is why does the E34 have a 90l tank and the F90 is down to 68l? One of the biggest reasons for me choosing the M6 was the 80l tank and I'd be even more happy with a 90l tank or thereabouts - my 850CSi has a 90l tank and various other 80s or 90s BMWs had bigger tanks - I think the E32 is the winner with an optional 102l tank, I'd kill for that in the M6!

On the test day of the Competition, weather was warm and humid, which had an influence on the times.

I'm always interested in dyno results and track times and 0-60 times, etc... But at the end of the day I'm LOVING the car (and prefer it to my old M6 and the various other amazing cars I've driven - which is a decent list). So I am happy
