I am selling my 2022 BMW M5 CS. I am the original owner. Car is Frozen Deep Green, red brake calipers, 2150 miles. I took delivery on Nov 20, 2021. Full XPel PPF and ceramic coating done by one of the best installers in the Dallas area right after delivery, 1200 mile service done right on the dot, car is mint, no stories, no issues. IND painted front reflectors installed while PPF installation was performed. Car is located in the Dallas area, garage kept, only driven a few times weekly. Price reduced to $162k FIRM. Car will be traded in by September 27 if no buyer. If you are interested and a serious buyer, please contact me.

Hah random note on the Remus. I thought it would fit the CS. I was thinking no reason it wouldn't, right? So I emailed with Remus (corporate? Austria) and they wrote back and told me they hadn't test fitted it with the CS but requested my VIN. Sent them the VIN and they wrote back "our technician rechecked with the VIN – unfortunately our systems will NOT fit." So strange. 🧐

Hah. No shit was my same thoughts. But was earlier on and figured I'd check with them. When manufacturer said it won't fit it kind of deterred me from deciding on my own it would even tough reports of Akra and MPE being installed were out. I referenced those and that was still the official response.

Remus fit without any issue. I had it installed at the BMW dealership by a friend that happens to be the lead tech there. The stock CS exhaust looks to be the same as the competition one but with different tips. Piping and resonators look the same.

Why are you surprised? There are dealers selling this at MSRP. Why spend more to get a used one?

He's right. Most of them are hovering around $180k with little to no miles and from a dealer. Some dealers spike to $200k but they're probably in a rich market.

You are confusing what you see on a dealer's actual website vs what the reality asking price is. Call the dealer you see it for msrp, guarantee it wont be the same number when you get them on the phone.. Very few CS's went for sticker when allocations dropped.

Anyone that is serious about buying the car is welcome to PM me. At $179k it is a good deal when you consider I have $7k in the PPF, $5k in the exhaust, $1000 in ceramic window tint, body colored bumper reflectors and rear reflector delete, plus taxes, fees.

No not confusing anything. I looked at one at my local dealership that was stickers at roughly $150,000. No second sticker.

It depends on your local dealership, but please don’t tell I’m “confused” on pricing.

Not every dealer is asking over MSRP. And the ones that do will never receive my money for buying a car not service it there.

So you didn't buy it, you probably were not in the market. Why are you hijacking my for sale thread if you have no interest in the car. Just because a car stickers at a certain price doesn't mean that is what it sells for. An example is the current Porsche GT3. They go for $75-100k over sticker, you can only get one at MSRP IF you have a long relationship with the dealer and they give you an allocation. It was a similar story for the M5 CS. Chances are the one you saw at your local dealer in Seattle was a customer ordered car sitting there waiting to be picked up, probably not an inventory car for sale at sticker. Production on CS ended in February, so its not like there are any more coming and you will snatch one up for sticker. I lived in Seattle for many years, it is not a market where you can buy hot cars for MSRP.

i didn't say there was a second sticker. I said what you see advertised (new when they came out listed on AT for example) everything was at msrp. But when you call them, there is markup..


Then again i'm arguing with someone who has an x5, so there's that.

A 2011 X5 no less. We need to have moderators get rid of comments that have no contribution to a for sale thread, as misinformation does not help in any way for seller or buyer. I don't need to look around, I have my CS. Got my allocation in October and paid MSRP.

You stated you found them at MSRP at this current market. I asked for evidence. Simple.
