Bluestone 2019 M5C

Hey All,

First off I would like to thank each of you who contribute to making this forum a wealth of information. A brief background - I did an ED for a 2014 F10 Silverstone M5 CP in late 2013. About 2 years later, we (wife and I) decided to do a renovation on our home which was quite costly. Thinking that having a depreciating asset sitting in the garage while I had debt did not make financial sense, I sold it to a friend and leased a 535i. Believe me that was a difficult decision but the right one, and every time I drove the 535 I longed for the day I could get back into an M5. Well nearly 3 years later with most of the reno paid off, that happy day came last week Wednesday

I have been lurking on the forum reading your posts, comments, advice, and looking at your wonderful pictures (salivating) lol. Of all the standard metallic colors, I found Bluestone more to my taste and tcw495 posted a great video of the car and its color - If tcw495 still reads the forum, I would tell him I was in a similar position a few years ago but don't worry my friend you are doing the right thing now and you will be back in an M in no time flat with a great home to park it in

But I digress. The local BMW dealership (where I got the 535 serviced) called me and the CA said that they had an M5 in the dealership that she thinks I should come see. I had 6 months left to pay on my 535 lease but what the heck, I would go check it out ( at the end of the month

) They offered to pay off the remaining balance of the lease as an incentive for me to buy the F90. I have been dying to get back in an M and man I love this car !!!! The sound of the engine, the ride, the quality of the interior, I love everything about this car compared to the F10! I modded my F10 with black bits and pieces, akro exhaust tips on the performance exhaust, Vorsteiner rear diffuser and front lip etc but this car is exactly as I like it.. NO mods. I did do Spectra photosync tints and Suntek protection film but that's all.

So I share a few pics of that day (more to come later) and give a shout out to all of you. The things you write about really helps folks like me with their decisions, answers the many questions, and addresses concerns. THANK YOU !

Thanks everyone! I am super happy... I try to find any excuse to take it for a drive LOL. I take the train to work so I don't drive much. As a matter of fact on the 2016 leased 535, I returned it with only 14,000 miles on it after 30 months.

I tried to upload a few more pictures but in the preview view the pics are upside down so I did not post. Is there a reason for that?

Also, as far as coding a local coder said that all the folders in the car have not been open so that things like the high beam assist whereby the beam splits cannot be coded at this time? I would like to get a list of items that can be coded, select my choices, and have a coder hook into the car remotely. Any recommendations?

Damn dude, I didn't even realize you were in So Flo. We really need to do a meet; there's a good number of So Flo F90 M5's. If you're in Miami let me know as well.

Congrats! Bluestone looks amazing! Very similar to the Space Grey Metallic on my 550 but with that great undertone. It's really a special color, enjoy it!

I went with DG but Bluestone was my second choice and it was a toss up.
