M550 looks better,
Not impressed. I've not been a huge fan of the F10 either. This just looks generic with some bits bolted on. For some reason the M550 looks sportier and refined. To much M2/M3 mixed in. I've always felt that the 5 series was a precursor of what's to come in the next generation 3series/M3....really if this is the language BMW will have for the next generation 3 series and M3/4s its underwhelming. RS6 is far more stunning

2wd and 4wd
But no rear fender flare is a big fail for an M car

I like it overall. I think with the right color combo and options it would be the best daily driver for the money. It's funny how critical and judgmental everyone is with never seeing it in person. Pics and videos rarely do justice to cars. I see the M5 as a daily, luxury car with insane performance. For those who say it's "underwhelming" or "boring", you may want to look in a different segment for a car, i.e. M4's, C63's, GTR's etc. To me, it fits the bill for the purpose of an M5.

Doesn't look that aggressive to me. Rear fenders and body styling seem fairly passive and similar to other sedans, looks very Toyota/Honda to me. Also looks like it has a lift. I've always loved the aggressive look of bmws when they appear hunched down over their wheels. This one looks more propped up on the wheels instead.
