265/35/20 & 305/30/20
(don't hate haha) Before picking up my F90 M5 comp, I was also considering the e63s. I saw the e63s runs a 265/35/20 front and 295/30/20 rear.
While just playing around with all possible tire size options, do you think it would be possible to run: 265/35/20 305/30/20 Granted I am not committed to this by any means, but I wanted to see if anyone has actually made this happen, or can confirm that it will not damage the transfer case or drivetrain? I am currently 275/35/20 squared on custom spec'd wheels. Stats on difference can be seen here: https://tiresize.com/comparison/ |

Possible? Sure, but why? The front end biased weight distribution of the F90 delivers a tendency to under steer with factory tire sizes. Increasing the 10mm stagger to 40mm will exacerbate this tendency.

Honestly, just based on the tire sizes that my company currently makes. I am running a 275/35/20 with altered wheel offsets to make it work on our tires. I believe the 275/35/20 with a 305/30/20 would be too much a gap and cause issues with the differential.

One thing I like about the Michelin (and Continental) tires is that they are typically up to several lbs lighter than other brands, in the high performance model tires (PS4, PSS, EC, ECS).
