2008 CCC OLD idrive carplay install nightmare

Firstly, I'd like to start out by saying I took delivery of the e93 m3 about a week ago.

The first purchase I made was the CCC carplay unit by Mr12Volt. (https://www.mr12volt.com/collections...-interface-dsp)

My 2008 E93 M3 has the old, all silver iDrive knob. I went about installing all of the kit, everything seemed to be fine after the install, I also installed a reverse camera. Once I booted the car up, I had a warning light for SOS system malfunction. I also had no sound from AM/FM radio. I then went to code the system with bimmercode. When I got to the headunit option, there were two pages to enter. One was greyed out and said "ecu not supported". The other had lots of options, but no option for 3000 HMI. Nowhere in bimmercode could I find 3000 HMI to code my unit. After lots of troubleshooting, I removed the entire mr12volt system and returned the car to stock. This removed my SOS malfunction and returned my sound. When I went to see if I could now code the option, I was still met with the "ecu not supported" on the headunit.

On top of all of this when I booted up the car, a code p161f was thrown, so unless someone has different input, I assume my throttle actuator just gave out.

Here is my dilemma, I am forced with trying to get help from the forums here, which I would rather do and get it figured out, because I am stumped. I am willing to phone call if anyone else is who would be willing.

OR, I can take it to a car audio shop and have them install a unit, which I would rather not have done, especially since bimmercode gives no option for 3000 HMI.

So, my questions here are:
Where can I find 3000 HMI
Why does the SOS malfunction occur
Why do I lose all sound (including door chime)
and if possible, does p161f mean I need my actuators replaced?

Thank you for any and all help.

Hey bud, I'll save you the headache. I'm in the same boat as you. One of your modules in the MOST Bus is fried or upon connecting the new CIC perhaps.

Hey, I also have a 2008 M3 with the CCC. For some reason I can’t get the Mr. 12 V to work either. Were you ever able to figure this out?
