No burbles even in Sport+ with shifts on level 3? That is a surprise. I am not a fan of the excess popping and banging noise. In fact I wish it would be outlawed in my area. It is present on my 2021 M5C. The base exhaust is perfect IMO. I love the deep rumble of the V8.

Nothing yet, but I only have 36 miles on mine and haven't gone over 5,500rpm yet. Lol

Bluehorseshoe how did the F10 treat you? Did you have any major problems and did you purchase it new? Did you tune the car?

Cool, I am only at 1,200 miles, and have not been high in the rev range.
I have not had the break in service because when I took the car in I was notified they were out of the differential fluid. So I am waiting for them to call me back. I think I may try another dealership in the Dallas area.

The pops show up at relatively low RPMs if I am in Sport + and just let off the throttle.

The red calipers work perfectly. The optional color should've been black.

Yes. Daytime running lights stay yellow, but in the US, once headlights are turned on, it turns white

@AHall Loved the F10. Zero complaints. Had DCT in black and manual in Silverstone. I'm a diehard manual lover but the F10 was so much better with DCT. Very sad they took this away from the F90.

I agree, I suspect the color limitation was related to the carbon hood, they have to test every color for adhesion and fading so they had limited choices, I personally think black wouldve been awesome, the BHG is an awesome color and it wouldve been my second choice from the full palette.

Damn, even I'll admit that your ride looks sick in those pics.

I want that hood so badly.

what? You do know a large majority of higher end cars with painted carbon fiber panels right?

The M3CS (and subsequent M4CS) both had the CFRP hood material. There were more color options then so I don't think your statement is correct.

Maybe they were doing it as a throwback to the E28 M5 that was only available in black.

How is the sound? I've got a m5cs on order and have heard various opinions on the sound.

My prior car was a M3CS with a Stage 1 tune. That car had significant pops and crackles from the exhaust (especially in Sport + mode).

So far with the 130 miles on the M5CS I've been disappointed with the sound. It's quieter than I expected and has no pops/crackles.

Maybe it will get louder as it breaks in. Or maybe it's related to the auto gearbox compared to the DCT in the M3.

Regardless, i absolutely love the car.
