My neighbor has one and the thing is a beauty. Think he's got an exhaust as well and the pops and crackles are intoxicating.

It's funny... i told my wife yesterday that there aren't many cars with that power and at that price point that I wouldn't want... but the Urus does nothing for me.

The first time I saw one in the flesh, I was gobsmacked. I expected that the result of Lamborghini + SUV would equal hot mess, but it looked awesome on the road. And it has the performance to back it up. Not surprised at all that it has sold so well.

Its selling ... ok. Its a bit soft in the market on ACV trade in's. The values in the used market make for a great second buyer on a low mile unit. Its still a 200k plus used SUV which appeals to a very small niche of users. I kinda like the looks though and can appreciate what it does performance wise for such a heavy thing.

Check out these auction sales on the 19's... yes these are wholesale but damnnn

Doesn't it make more sense to get the RS Q8 and mod it hard?

Better than OK. They sold 5,000 of them in 2019, good for over $1 billion in sales on that model alone. The Urus was an absolute hit for Lamborghini.

I was defining my "ok" under how they move vs sitting on the lot. Im sure you are privy to such things as total inventory and production vs sales so I wont deflect. I was comparing total production to inventory and days supply which is most meaningful at the dealer level in regards to flooring and curtailment payments. I am talking stateside as well- your 5000 is global vs 2374 in the US. And because of this the secondary market is a homerun as I stated and showed in values vs original msrp's.

How a car sells is the days supply in inventory. They dont move super fast but to your point in regards to the 5000 sales its a Lambo and thats good as it dominates the Lambo sales as whole but production of the car also dominates. It has been a hit for Lambo no doubt.

Don't buy this one. It was parked across the street from my Buddy's house.

But Lamborghini has actually done the impossible and made an SUV that actually looks really cool and mean. The RS Q8 is just another boring square Audi.

It would be nice to pick up one of the grey ones from the list. My favorite color is the black with the dark tan interior. Saw one in my town the other day and it looked and sounded awesome. In the CarandDriver lighting lap the Lambo was 7th followed by our M5 in 6th.

The RS Q8 does nothing for me.

But for the Urus price you can buy an RS Q8 and then make a stop at the BMW dealership and also pickup an M5.

Come on, just an RS Q8 in disguise. The same way any modern Lambo is an R8 in disguise.

Yeah the 2nd user is going to love the Urus (as I posted the wholesale numbers) but remember its got only a 3 year warranty... Im sure the VSC on that car is shockingly high like any exotic.

The 2nd guy will come in better for sure but likely eat just as much or more depreciation. The '20 model has soft close doors standard and maintenance included w'in the first 3 years, which I feel is a must-have on a car this level. 23-inch tires are also expensive lol if the car is serving daily duties.

I canceled my order when Covid hit, at the time I managed $10k off on a custom build and still had a hard time justifying the car (impulse buy 992 now has my full attention). In the meantime picked up the new G63.

Yeah too bad there are not any 18's so we could literally track the downward spiral. If the 19's drop 25% in the first year it will be a sad day if that trend continued so a 280k car would be only 140k wholesale in 24 months---- very MACCA like indeed if that happens.

You will be much better off in that G63 depending on what you paid

But if you can afford a Urus as your DD, the price difference is largely irrelevant. And when they go to sell the Urus in two years when they move on to the next shiny penny, they'll get way more for it than the Q8.

No way I would drive a Q8, but I'd take the Urus all day and twice on Sunday if it was in my budget. To me, if I were willing to drive the RS Q8, I'd just get the regular Q8 and save the coin. I really don't see the reason to pay extra for the RS punch if it's still wrapped in just Audi styling. And this is from a former Audi lover (A4, S4, A6 4.2 and RS5 owner).

Saw one in person for the 1st time this past Saturday. I fell in love with it. The pictures do not properly capture this things presence.

Nice enough styling for a truck, but for that kind of coin I'd rather spend it on a 992 Turbo S.

Yeah, Audi is a good brand but let's be honest. It's the 4th best brand in Germany. 😂
