Thanks I tried, but it didn’t give the full spectrum of options for the F90. I think there was another thread covering this.

I'm using OBDLink, the one that has a blue check mark in my photo. I have coded my M5 and 3 other cars to full compatibility. Like I said my app was restricted until I bought the full subscription within the app.

I'm running iOs (Apple). I may try again and ensure I'm running the full Bimmercode app version, if not I may try the adapter you are using. Thanks again. |

I haven't been able to code anything in iDrive. Whenever I go to head unit it gives me error and doesn't show anything. Everything else works fine. I have the Ethernet cable and Bluetooth both still same issue.

i got the ethernet/lightning adapter listed earlier but my phone rarely wants to recognize the car. I got it to recognize it once and coded most everything. Didn't get into the expert mode at all but damn it was fast compared to wifi/bluetooth versions! anyone know how/why the phone doesn't seem to want to connect? any tips?

is there a listing of the coding that can be done in expert mode or ESYS? wouldn't mind diving into expert mode to give some things a try.

The last time I coded anti-dazzle myself was maybe 4 years ago and it required 20+ FDL-coding changes and a bit of VO coding. This is an easy way to brick your car. I'd recommend paying for it. In addition, this is a moving target and maintaining pace with the changes requires a significant investment in time. I'm confident I can do it myself given the necessary reading but my time is worth more to me than the cost of a remote coding session. Just my tuppence... |
