The Suches Loop
Known to locals as “Georgia’s Dragon,” the Suches Loop is found smack dab in the middle of the Chattahoochee National Forest and Blue Ridge Mountains. The loop is essentially a little over 50 miles of twists and elevations. TSL is well known in the state for drawing auto enthusiasts due to its numerous blind turns and steep elevations. Driving up the mountain on GA-19, there are two lanes. Once drivers connect with Route 180 the road gets narrower. Although the path can be challenging even for veteran drivers, it is a must-drive for those who want to push the handling limits on their vehicle. You shouldn’t feel bad about taking it down an RPM or 500 here; Suches Loop is a great route for viewing three of Georgia’s mountain passes -- Neel's Gap, Hester Gap, and Stonepile Gap. The drive is exceptionally beautiful in the fall. Awesome drive! |

I'm in the upstate South Carolina. We have drives through the mountains pretty routinely. Some of the most fun and scenic routes! If anyone is ever this way, hit me up.

I’m in the process of moving to the ATL area myself. Currently in NJ (several NE transplants here I see).
I’ll check back here in a bit, planning to be down there May/ Junish. Let’s get some meets going. ‘21 M5 - Marina Bay Blue/ Tartufo |

Heyo! 48 hours into owning my 2020 Singapore Grey F90 M5 and happy to see this thread, even if it's only a post here or there every couple of months. I'm up on the Northside also if anyone does want to get together or go for a ride in the mountains in N GA.
Feel free to reach out or drop a DM. |

FINALLY wrapping up things with the NJ home sale (long story). I'm going to start my drive to GA next week in the F90 of course.
My stops so far: NJ to Richmond, VA Richmond, VA to Asheville, NC Asheville, NC to Atlanta, GA I saw some of the roads mentioned above but any suggestions on the Asheville to ATL stretch? Once I'm in the area with my ///M def interested in meets. Let me know. |

Admittedly it seems a bit quiet in here but if you're interested in getting together for a beer or such, we can drop each other a DM to get in touch; I'm in the Roswell area.
