Melbourne Red M235i w/ VMR Wheels
Just had EAS mount some VMR V705 wheels on my car. I gotta say, I like the contrast that the silver has over the stock grey with Melbourne Red. I just need to lower the car now (I have springs on order).

Wow.. the MR looks AMAZING! Are those 18's or 19's? And how much, if you don't mind me asking? $$

They are 18x8 +45 all around. With 255/35/18 tires (Yokohama Advan AD08) in the rear, the tires are literally right under the fender edge, so they would likely rub under certain circumstances. My friend with the same wheels has plenty of clearance with the stock 245 width PSS tires though. The fronts have 225/40/18 tires, which clear just fine. I believe the AD08 tires might run wider than their actual specs, so that could be why the fitment is so aggressive as well.
A set of this wheel (no tires) will probably run for about $1K, a great deal considering that VMR wheels have been used on race cars before with no issue (Berk's 135i race car comes to mind). I definitely plan on tracking my car with these wheels. European Auto Source's blog post of my car has closer and much larger photos of the wheels: http://europeanautosource.com/blog/m...05-wheels.html |

Looks great. I wish someone would paint the stock wheels VMRs bright silver. I bet they would look great.
Photoshop anyone?
