Software Update due March 2019

Apparently there is a 'silent' recall on M5's. There is a code that comes up that does not cause a check engine light to show. There is a software update due in March from Germany.

I just love "intermittent" issues.

Thanks for the heads up.

Just out of curiosity, how/where do you find this kind of info?

My car has been in the shop for 6 months. They did scan for mechanicals last week, which should have been done, what? 6 months ago, and found this code. Then researched it and got information from the Fatherland.
