Another possible brake pad option

Just want to share another oem upgrade pad available now.
Just had endless installed over the weekend.
MX72, a step up from oe pad which is very prone to fade at high temp.

The eip238 pad says it fits M5 2016 up. This seems off. Is that for the F10 M5?
It says on some websites it fits the M2 as well.

Is that the pad you got? Does it fit well? Where did you get it?

it's eip289, I had it preordered at a local shop during March and finally came.
Eip238 is for f10 m5, which is a different caliper to the f90 m5, eip238 will not fit f90.

I installed the endless front brake on my M5C.
Yes the squealing noise while braking is gone gone but I have a clunking sound while going over uneven surfaces and upon initial braking. It sounds as if the fitment is loose and there is play within the calipers. Any suggestions?

Had the same problem in my M2 with Hawk DTC-70's. Awesome pad. They are made a little "looser" than the OEM pad. Either put up with it, or you can come up with something that will keep the pad from moving around as much. Lots of copper grease, or a titanium backing plate, or little rubber pads on the back of the pad (that's what BMW uses). It will not harm braking. But make sure it's just the pad "clunking" and they weren't installed improperly

Nice find. Looks a lot like what BMW uses on the back of the M sport pads.
