Unhappy BBS FI-R not possible in 20" to fit M5C 2021

Many people here agree that the BBS FI-R's are among the best-looking wheels.

To my surprise, they're not made to fit the M5C 2021. I'm not talking about being out of stock, I'm talking about production. I spoke with two different BBS resellers (Fitment Industries and VividRacing), both of whom contacted their BBS reps to check. The response was the same: BBS doesn't make a version that fits (due to the 5x112mm bolt pattern which is what's on the M5C 2021). BBS also doesn't do custom, or blanks for the bolts, like some other companies do. The dealers recommended BBS RI-D wheels instead, but those don't look nearly as good as FI-R's.

Yes, you can do 21" FI-R's on the M5C, but not 20". Too bad! I won't go 21" on the M5, because while it certainly looks great, from all the research I've done, there are too many downsides: harsher ride, low profile tires with thin sidewalls vulnerable to damage, slower acceleration and breaking due to higher unsprung mass, fewer and more expensive tire choices, bent rims due to potholes.

I wish I knew someone personally at the BBS factory so I could talk them into making me a custom wheel.

The 21" BBS FI-R's are still 6lbs lighter at the front and 7lbs lighter at the rear over the 789M's.

If you just want 20" just get HRE to build you a set of R101-LW's. 10 pounds per corner over the 789M's.

I've really looked very hard at HRE R101-LW. They seem like the best alternative to the BBS FI-R. I've thought very hard about it, but whenever I see the BBS side-by-side with the HRE, the BBS looks so much superior in terms of quality and design.

The other part about HRE that shocked me is that they look much worse in real life than in photos. BBS always looks good no matter what.
