Trim swap, anyone want wood?

Picking up a new M coupe soon, but it has wood trim and I want to replace it with carbon leather. If anyone's interested in swapping let me know. I can throw in some cash and pay for shipping as well.

What color is the wood? What happened to your M3 project?

It's complete, I have a 335 as well though and have no use for 2 cars with backseats, so I'm getting a new M coupe to replace the 335 and will start working on it, putting the brakes back on and possibly re supercharging it, but might go for something much more epic.

I believe it's the same as the wood in this picture http://www.m3addict.com/whats-good/w...nterior001.jpg

I've bought a lot of 20 or so damaged aluminum center trim pieces no light switch housing, they are all nicked and gouged. I can sort through them and grab you the best one (you can wrap it in leather or carbon fiber) free you pay the shipping. btw did you ever sell your carbon pieces?

wrap the wood in that carbon fabric,
it actually looks very OEM once installed and the quality is pretty good,
I did my door handles in it to match my OEM carbon leather and it was a great match and most people who see my interior thinks it came that way,

I can find the link to the thread if you want to see it,

Simmer Mamba....
What does more epic mean? Please put an LS7 in the M Coupe. Any links to your completed M3 build? And I with you, I would chose the E46 M3 over 335i anyday. I didn't get much enjoyment out of my 335i.

Jra where did you buy them from, I appreciate the offer, but I'm hoping for OEM. If I go with some sort of wrapping I'll just have it layed with real CF probably. I didn't sell the carbon pieces and I'm glad I didn't now.

Don't worry bout the haters.

More epic as in 600WHP or I wont even bother. Built motor+ either turbo or SC.

Some videos of the e46:

http://turbom3.precision-sport.com/ is a link to the blog, though not much of the completed car on it.

O-Cha-

Love that the hater asked if you were going to smash it into a wall.

Forget them, you were driving your car as it was meant to be driven, it saved your bacon, and you'll get another.

Cars can be replaced, memories are there for the duration!

Hey, did you have the full set of all 3 pieces? I'm starting to think about just having some trim straight overlayed with real carbon fiber, obviously don't want to do it with the good trim in case its way too much and I don't like it.

Crap, I wonder if regular z4 trim fits in the Ms because that's a whole lot cheaper to buy and possibly destroy. Though I guess if the real carbon fiber doesn't turn out well to me someone else would be sure to buy it still.

Yup Z4 trim is the same as M trim,Only variances would be the sport button hole, which you could open anyway, and the arm rest where the e-brake handle is,

Both are work arounds
