I'm "In Transit" now. The boat is somewhere over the Atlantic. Have to wait for it to hit the West coast. Ugh. I'm actually taking a business trip to Munich in a week and a half. The car should be here by the time I get back.

Trip to München is a good distraction! You can hit the Hofbräuhaus and Welt. Last European Delivery I did I tracked my car out the English Canel, down the Eastern Sea Board, through the Caribbean and Panama Canal and up the West Coast. Had to make sure the ship didn’t sink

Cool story: did an ED in 2011, went with my best friend to pick up an '11 335i -Sport at the Welt. Trip of a lifetime. Waited an eternity for the car to cross the pond. I was at a wedding in Charleston, SC on a patio outside the reception hall that faced the Atlantic. And what should I see sailing by but the very Wallenius Wilhemsen freighter that had my car on it en route to delivery. I received it in Houston a week or two later. Pretty cool coincidence.

just checked mybmw, says car in paint booth. Assuming since it had no update friday, that it's passed the paint stage now. Scheduled to finish prod. thursday.

yea man, sucks. My father doesn't want to wait til July for the car. Guess PCD wasn't meant to be, last time i placed an order for an f10m5 it got to carolina then BMW had a recall on the differentials, car couldn't be delivered so i bailed. I know, first world problems

I'm most upset about the fact that a dealer down here is charging 500 for a courtesy delivery of the vehicle. I refuse to give a dealer in south florida a penny.

Gonna go and find a Mexican joint to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Maybe a couple of margaritas will help me get some sleep.

Heading into MUC for a week of work. My car's on a boat, just came thru Panama canal Friday. Dealer told me next week. Will have to wait until I get back to see it!

Delivery was excellent. I was in good company, Donington M5 comp to my right and Matt Gray 760M to my left both US cars.

so still in quality check as of this morning.

Whats more weird is i called bmw genius and the guy told me BMW has removed their ability to do tracking on cars? He then referred me to automated line which told me the same thing about quality check. A little frustrated.

i know, first world problems..
