The P Park function is frustrating. There is No P button on the shift lever like other BMWs. Any suggestions.

Put it in N and apply the parking brake. Then switch the car off.

Or, you can also just turn it off, even in D/S, when stopped.

I've done the first in my M cars.

M1 = slightly sporty settings, Engine in Sport, Steering in Comfort, Transmission at 2, Suspension at Sport.

M2 = Sport+ everything.

I push the Start/Stop button once with my foot on the brake, then use the parking brake, then push Start/Stop once again. I don't know if this is the proper way, but it works for me.

The best mileage without aggressive driving I'm getting so far is 11. Does that sound right to everyone else?
If yes what was that better mileage than 2013 hype about?

The truck is still new. Over time it should improve past break in. That said, I never really averaged above 14 in my outgoing 50i doing lots of city driving.

Fuel efficiency isn't at the top of most M buyer's priority lists.
