That's why they're so helpful! The official shots are either over lit or under saturated to make them look extra good.... which makes it hard to tell what the car would actually look like once it's got a few days worth of dirt and is in normal lighting ;p

The color is distorted in the pic I took for sure. I would consider that color combo a primary mission. Think of it this way: BMW likes it enough to put it on the show car!

I'll try to get my pics organized and find your main thread to post them. It's time consuming as I have to go compress them all or I get the dreaded "format error." Thought you might enjoy seeing these though.

Have ordered Carbon Black on Black with carbon interior, both packages plus the B & O. If you care about the sound of your music (you should) and use lossless audio files it sounds significantly better than even the HK, which is standard on the X5M. I have it in my M6 GC and it is outstanding

I got told today by BMW NA that they expected to build in Week 11 and have completed by Week 12 (March 16) Unless I find the time to go pick it up in SC then likely delivery in SoCal is 1 April or thereabouts

+ 1 on FLAC audio files. I have a custom proffesional audio system on a different car, with Microprecision Z Studio speakers, and the quality of FLAC is just perfect

I just got mine - week 12

I was at the dealership yesterday, and watched the sales manager search the US allocation. There were ~240 allocated US X6Ms, with about 160 not already sold to customers (but allocated to dealers). They still don't seem to be ramping up much on (US) production....

Mine has been produced, awaiting 'Release to Carrier'
Dealer (BMW of Encinitas) has been told official release is 3/28! (Could and most likely will be sooner)
