Just got my new-to-me M5 today(2019) and it came with the display key. I have tried using the charging pad in the car, a couple of USB cables and a Qi certified charging pad in he house and none of them seem to be able to charge it. Seen the screen flash to life briefly a couple of times but never long enough to interact with the display. The buttons for locking and unlocking the car still work normally so battery must have some life in it.
Anyone else had a similar issue and if so how did you resolve it? Going to leave it plugged in to charge overnight and hope for the best in the morning.

*** Update***
Managed to sort the issue by unplugging the battery and then putting it back in. Key seems to be working and holding/taking a charge.
