There is no doubt the fact the competition has gone 4WD the RS6 has lost its edge a little.

The RS6 used the be the estate that would beat everything on the road minus 2 seater sports cars, now you can pick up a Merc, Tesla, BMW, Porsche and be just as comfortable, have just as much space for the kids and dogs etc and still lick up the RS6.

Hopefully, the RS6 Performance is not just an ECU tune - they need it to be a 750HP+ animal.

First things first... Audi Never outperformed BMW and probably never will.

Second how old is this kid. Lol

I wouldn't give him VW Polo to test/review cars.

I think anyone who owned an F10 and has been dominated by an RS6 would say different

Defo more fun in the M - but C7 RS6 vs F10 M5 the track times were pretty much 50/50 who came out on top.

From a dig only. Once rolling, the F10 was faster

Audi finally decides to sell the rs6 avant- here...in a world where most consumers are purchasing SUV's. Not sure this will be a very popular car. Most wagons sit on the dealer lots for quite a long time.

The choice is not that hard if you actually need an estate/station wagon/touring.

Until you factor in AMG or maybe even Alpina.

I have driven an RS4 and RS6 and found them both capable, but also a little soft and dull. The C63S T, that I ended up buying, doesn't have the same level of traction, but is much more engaging and fun, so I do understand the comments made here.

How come Audi can put a massive grille on the front of their car that looks sporty, mean and aesthetically pleasing . . . and BMW cannot?

Other than that, if I were in market for a truck, I would definitely consider the M5 and R56.

Not confirmed, but the rumor is they will only be producing a small amount each year, such as <1k. Either that or it will be order only, similar to the E63S Wagon.

Not sure how to answer this question but, with a single frame design the grill is overall very clean, however a dual frame design like the kidney's can be more visually busy. Not sure if that makes sense, but that's at least how I see it.

Not sure either, but the Audi looks awesome . . . so it can be done.

The Audi grill doesn't look very good either, but everyone is used to it by now so the shock factor is gone.

^this. The plate doesn't overlap anything on the Audi's like it would on kidneys. Audi also has a little less going on around the grill.

At what point will these cars stop getting larger and more powerful? How usable is 600 hp power on a daily basis? Are they actually engaging to drive or just big executive cars that feel like a 530 when you're not accelerating hard?

I miss the E39 and E60.

I don't like the Audi grill either but it is better than the new kidney grills on the BMWs. The audi symbol and Euro license plate break up the grill and make it less offensive. My other concern is that the BMW is too vertically stretched which makes it look like an Edsel.

Simply compare the front end of an M5 with the new M3/4 and you can see the difference.
