Random wipers swipe

Hi!

Out of the blue, my car has started to do one swipe of the wipers every time that I start the engine. I have the wipers set to "auto", but that has been the same since the car was new back in December 2018. I tried cleaning the sensors in the windshield and that helped for a day or so, but then it started to happen again. Anyone else dealing with this situation???

For now, I just turned the switch to the "off" position. I will let SA know when I take in the car for some other maintenance.

that happened to me but my reason is that my garage is air conditioned and the warm air from opening the garage caused some condensation over the sensor.

Okay, hold it ... I'm from Canada and we have heated garages but I've never heard of garages that are air conditioned 👍🏼 first world problems that's for sure

My advice would be to never let the wipers in Auto. Imagine a situation after a few days when there would be dirt and sand on the windshield and then the wipers kick in... all those fine scratches would drive me crazy!
