Jb4 install - turbo inlet removal help

Does anyone know how to pop-off the turbo inlet to install the driver side ewg connector ? I've hooked up everything else and I'm reluctant to yank this thing out too hard ... not exactly clear how it disconnects from its two connections

You have to take a screw driver or needle nose pliers and pull up on the metal ring around it. It's basically a U shape. It doesn't have to come off, just needs to be pulled up a bit to slide it off.
