Down pipes

What are the major recommended aftermarket downpipes for F90 platform?

Any specifics DPs recommend for different tunes? Do certain downpipes integrate better with JB4, BM3, DME, Evolve, etc.

All functions the same. Just fitment and quality difference.
All works with any tunes. Just flash tune have the capability to delete the CEL caused by secondary O2 reading.

I have seen downpipe from the cheapest to the most expensive one.

You get on what you paid for.
Cheap downpipe most of the time have fitment issues and crack in short period of time. Which will cost you time and money on the labor side.

Expensive one, usually fits like a glove. But, some do way overpriced.

For my personal preference.

Since I work on my own cars, downpipe wise all depending on which vendor is willing to hook me up.
And I have a few preferred brands that I deal with.
I can't favor one brand to the other, but for sure not the cheapest unknown brand one. The most important things, material quality and workmanship.
2 brands that I have been working closely with are Evolution Racewerks and Keller Performance.

Tune wise, I do prefer piggyback like RaceChip for my daily. Something with quality.
Flash tune for something that I do track with a full build that I can put aside and work on it slowly when something doesn't work right.
Again, I can't favor one brand to the other since each have its own quality and performance on the tune.
But for piggyback tune, so far I have been very satisfied with RaceChip's quality and performance.
I used to offer other brand, but I got very disappointed once I get know the quality on the products, on the service, and the performance.

Appreciate your response. This is my first BMW so I'm new to all of this and I'm trying to take in as much as possible. I came from the AMG community where most people went with OETune, Eurocharged or Weistec. For long tube headers it was either American Racing Headers or MBH headers. So I'm trying to narrow it down as much as I can.

Yea, Mercedes Benz market doesn't have much variety.
Maybe because it have smaller crowd. At least in my area.

But feel free to ask any question.
This F90 M5 crowd are very helpful and quite active.

As long as you get a proven brand that fits well without any leaks, all will perform the same.

We carry Evolution Racewerks, Lusso and Keller Performance downpipes.

The most popular choice for us is Evolution Racewerks. Its made in the US and priced very reasonably.
