Forums like these fulfill both informational and also entertainment/leisure purposes - no need to be 100% clinical and serious all the time when discussing hobbies such as cars
Ok, but you can never be sure when there is a board full of fanboys what they really mean (not saying you're a fanboy ). My point is still, don't dismiss a car because its a Fiesta, they can still be a blast to drive.
Anyways, thanks for the chat, let's move on.

That AMG is still hotter. The one on display at the NYIAS was insane.

No one dismissed it. You stated that it "wins" the fun factor - as it should. That is subjective and a dumb statement.

So before you call people fanboys - who own and have driven the car you are talking about - come with some objective facts.

I know its subjective. I didn't know that was unclear must been my swedishenglish.
But let's discuss the fun factor after you driven the Fiesta ST and then you come back and tell me I was wrong.
And what cars I've driven or not, nothing you know about so don't give me that excuse.
Talking about subjective opinions, just like this Autobild comparison the final verdict is a subjective result and not a universal fact that the M5 is the best car. I hope you agree.

You are correct - I only made my statements because I cannot wrap my head around how you are comparing an ST t o an F90...but I will ask - Have you driven the new F90 M5? Do you have pictures to show you in one?

I have driven the ST and I believe you are wrong. That is because it is a (my) subjective point of view - and quite frankly a ridiculous comparison.

Autobild uses objective and subjective criteria. The objective criteria states that the M5 is a better performing car - which I enjoy - so objectively it is the better performing car - and subjectively - I enjoy being in and owning the better performing car.

I said in the beginning to compare ST in this thread is the wrong place. I replied to another member about it, you missed that I see. Instead you continue to write to me. Why? just admit opinions is about personal preferences and leave it there.

and me posting pictures of me in a M5 isn't going to proove anything, you know how easy its to fake photos and how easy its to claim I've driven this and that. Its like me asking you to post pictures of Fiesta ST MK8. Won't prove anything and kinda childish too.
All I want to say to you is that I prefer smaller nimble cars, not 2000 kg luxury saloons, if it's speed I want I have my motorcycle for that. But to each his own.

Like you said and what I've said here earlier, comparing ST with a M5 is dumb thing, particulary on a BMW board. Deep down I think its the word fanboy that got you upset. Sorry for that if its helps.

Anyways, there is no more to say - send me a PM if you like - end of discussion and have a good day!

Yes. Throwing around the word fanboy - when it isn't justified or accurate - is annoying. Especially when your premise is completely incorrect - in this case meaning - subjective. I have no desire to PM you to discuss this further. I have all the information I need from reading your past posts - exactly what the situation is here.

Have a great day.

I can say the same thing to you. I know what the situation is here from your posts as well. BTW in my opinion M5 E60 is the best M5, despite the rubbish gearbox.
Good day.

Good day.
And that would be yet another subjective opinion. Thank-you for proving that point, yet again - and hopefully for the last time.

Come on man. Don't want to be rude but can't you read. In "my opinion I wrote", not saying it as a fact. All opinions are personal, how many time do I need to say it.
This discussion makes me feel 12 again. Seriously , calm down, this is leading nowhere.

Correct. It is leading no where. And this is where the discussion - at least with me started - and should have finished. Your opinions are subjective - so there isn't any "rightfully". You could have saved us both a bunch of posting - and stopped there.

And I am very calm.

And I'm sorry for it. I'm swedish and didn't know rightfully was such a strong word with a strong meaning.

SA just did a mini test on the GT63, they seemed be very impressed by it. It is now the fastest sedan they have tested on the Hockenheim GP track (though it's on cup tire and they have not ran M5C on this track yet). SA said they have asked Porsche to supply the Turbo S Hybrid E for a comparison test but Porsche declined, probably knowing it will lose since the E63 S already beat it on the shorter course.

Haha, I was going to post exactly that, or ask is that the configuration you're getting Vic?

Is Aston making a new Rapide? That would mean there are 3 ultra premium sports sedan options which could be interesting. Other than that there is nothing else out there.

I swear, I am not..... yet.

In all honesty while money is relative and we are all so blessed to have the opportunity to own these amazing machines; I just dont see the value add in getting this car for this price point (for me)

Im getting on in my years LOL and dont need another sedan that is not better in performance areas than the F90. And when so, its negligible at best. I dont track the car so that rules any possible advantage if any as stated. For this price I would just get a fantastic 2019 Turbo S in Chalk and write all over the board!!!!!!!! (I can get one even cheaper right now- with super low miles).

The Turbo S I just ordered is cheaper than that after the discount they gave me. Crazy.

Vic, GT 63 S has more "presence" than the M5, it looks and sounds bada$$, you should definitely consider it if a good deal comes around

Lets say here stateside, I get triple net of invoice, which I have in the past based on my factory connects; that would be 12% off the car. Even at 24k off on this exact car, I personally dont think its worth the presence for me. I know all about the sound having had the M177/M178 on 3 cars now (still with the AMG GTS). I just dont see it. Maybe others here might though??
