Thoughts on the Titian 7 for the F90
I have a Skyscraper Grey M5 coming that will be fully Carbon fibered out. I did order the black BMW wheels with it but I don’t really like them. I’ve known all along I was going to order something different. I was thinking forgeline and I still might do that, but a buddy of mine who owns a shop showed me these Titian 7. They look just as good as the forgeline I was going to buy and they are fully forged. However, I know nothing about this brand. Any experiences here with it? Any pictures of gloss black on a gray M5? I believe this link I provided is the exact ones that fit on the F90. Any input as to how the offset looks? Thanks

A bunch of us use Titan7 TS5 because they are lightweight and a great value compared to some other wheels. They are painted not powder coated so the paint may not be as durable long term but that remains to be seen. Offset is changed from stock (more at one end than the other from what I recall) so I would try them without spacers first. Assuming you are buying wider tires for them, that extra width will also help fill the wheel wells. Then consider spacers. I ran spacers with stock wheels but do not with the Titan7 TS5.

So the only real difference is, they are just painted and not powder coated? Other than that they are still high-quality and can handle excess speeds and cornering? They definitely look good.

They don’t seem to have any certifications (at least not easily viewable online), and they are not JWL, VIA, or TUV approved (Seems like they test to those standards though). The website is very nice and talks about their technology , but I can’t even see where they are manufactured or what type of quality control process they go through.
Wheels do look nice and have a good reputation though. |

Other wheels I looked at were Dinan and Signature. I did not look at the $10k sets of wheels but if your budget is that big look at HRE and BBS.

Still, these titan wheels look pretty awesome as well. It’s the exact look I’m looking for. I don’t mind saving some money but I don’t want to put junk on this beautiful car. |

I don’t own any watches, but if you are into status symbols, I would recommend wheels that other people think are fancy. I’d say Forgeline fits in there with BBS and HRE.

Well, I don’t really hang around anyone that would know what any of these wheels were so status means nothing to me. The type of watches I own the only people that know what they are are extreme watch hobbyists.

I've had the Dinan wheels for about 18 months. They have held up well and still look like new (other than the brake dust that I am too lazy to wash off ;-).
If you search, you can find a review I did on them a while back along with a few pix. Both the Dinan and Titan wheels are wider than stock and substantially lighter, so a win-win from a performance perspective. |
