Valid point, but we are entering an interesting new phase in the car world. V8's are dead... and that's big, especially to me.

We aren't going into getting the CS thinking to make money. My dad genuinely likes the car, if someone offers him something crazy, he will move it though. Everything has it's price.

I think it, along with cars like the M4 GTS, will eventually go up in value. But... I'm talking 15-20 years from now.

Possibly. On the other hand, there might be other scenarios where they ban the last few % of remaining ICE from the road all together and prohibit fossil fuel distribution. You might still buy a "day permission" for a few hundred bucks but you'll have to carry a blackbox that registers your driving style and emissions. The next day the invoice for you measured footprint is send electronical.

Under these conditions, I doubt that those cars will hold their values.
