Every option sans DA, individual color, CCB all the goodies.

Just spoke to BMW genius, week 14 build.
If you don't mind me asking, what was the final MSRP and estimated payments?

I'm currently looking at putting an order in EOM for a M5C, all options (excluding DA), CCBs, and individual color. Unfortunately the dealer won't budge much on discounting as it's a comp model and individual color. I'm hoping to find a bit of leverage.

Folks - I thought I had closed a deal and even posted here I did but got cold feet. It was on a 2018 base with 5000 miles where the dealer was leasing as if the car was new; I was literally at the dealer ready to take delivery and backed out

Well, now I just got another offer from my dealer on a new base 2019:

MSRP: 119K
Offer price $107K
No MF markup
Pay taxes and doc fees upfront
Monthly payment $1470

The catch, the car has 1100 miles - the GM drove it and hence the reason for the discount.

Thoughts?

I really like that. Don't even need to do the math. It makes sense.

Also, although this was probably done, make sure the vehicle had the breakin service done to avoid any warranty issues down the road.

It's not new if it has 1100 miles. I would want a bigger discount.

The first 1100 miles are the most important and you have no way of knowing if he flagged it all over town.

Pimpsy is the voice of reason inside my brain - which is good and bad. I'll ask for the service history on the car; the sales guy says it was the GM who drove it.

From some calcs...residual at 55%...mf at .00177...36 months lease...i get monthly of 1612 without taxes. Taxes would be around 5-6k upfront considering 8.875 or higher. And this is without multiple security deposits.
I say, not bad deal. And the demo car with mileage on it, doesn't matter. Under warranty.

Think you can get close to same payment without tax upfront for non comp

Does the warranty start when you get it or when the GM took the car? Or cuz it is a 2018 is it already a year in?

First post. I am in a 911 and have previously had a C63. Recently came across the M5 while looking into 750 (which leases better of course). Am in Dallas also and have had varying offers from dealers on in stock cars. None of them seem to be moving are they getting more aggressive elsewhere?

I personally put very little into a “proper” break in. In the old days with less exact tolerances, maybe it made a difference, but now not so much. In addition it is under warranty for the term of the lease so who cares?

I am leasing a 2018 that was used as a bmw exec demo and I got over 20k off the 132k msrp and if it is a lease who cares what the gm driving it did as most of us probably drive our cars harder anyway! Also if it's warranted the miles really don't matter for the discount you could stand to get.

Judging by some of the comments i see on here sometimes, im not so sure.

20k off is heavy. wow, and 132, that's almost every option. Nice find. which state was this?

3rd time is the charm

Third time is the charm; finally closed a deal today for a brand new car - screw the demo versions and the hand wringing I had to do due to my own insecurities.

2019 Comp (Donington Grey / Black / Exec package)
MSRP $115,995
Selling price: $106,135
MF: at buy rate
55% residual
Paid my TX state taxes plus acquisition fee upfront - no other money down
Monthly payment $1470

Of course, I will be now having 2 M5s in my garage; my 2016 still has 3 months to go but only $995 payment due to the screamer deal I got in 2016.

The car is not super loaded but the Exec package is the only thing that I want anyways so it worked out perfectly.

Wife was surprisingly calm about the whole thing.

Thank you! Not the best financial sense to carry two M5s but I have a million justifications in my head - LOL. I am really stoked about getting the Donington grey - it is my favorite F90 color. Coming from a black car, it will be nice to not notice every piece of dirt.
