I get a lot of questions regarding installing the VSC-2 Valve controller; I'm hoping this video will help answer some of the questions.

I have this on my car and it's working great! I believe i was the first one to install a vsc2 on a F90 M5 as cg precision asked how i installed it and to take pictures.

I also had it on my F82 M4 and it worked great on that car too.

I do not understand the need for this at all. I must be missing something.
My 2018 base M5 will stay in whatever mode I last left it at, both exhaust and start/stop.

Somewhat does this do differently?

The stock system works by having the valves closed under a certain RPM. On most models, it stays closed unless its in sport mode on all RPM

Also, on new models, the valves do not open 100% with the stock system; they stay open ~ 80%

Some people use the controllers to keep the valves open all the time, even on comfort mode, and some do the opposite by having the valves closed to make the car quieter
